I am looking at a '74 W600 with a max GVW of 24,500#. It has 9.00x20 tires on 6 bolt rims. Duals on back.

What is the load rating for the front axle? It has a 70 stamped on it and has closed knuckles.

The motor is a big block (360 or 361), 4sp, divorced twin stick TC with a brake and another yolk out the back for a PTO or some thing. There is a hyd. pto on the tranny.

Thanks for any opinions.
Troy.

ps: I may turn it into a forklift chassis but I keep seeing a Swepty Crewcab on it!
