Remember how old this stuff is. the hinges are probably sprung a bit from 50 years of opening and closing. Are the pins and bushings good? When aligning doors I would do it with the fender off. take your time. there are no straight lines anywhere so any movement one way affects 3 other spots. one trick is if you have good pins, and no more adjustment in the direction you need, for example door is sagging, take a piece of 2 x 4 and stick the corner of it inside the bottom hinge push door shut against the 2 x 4 gently at first, take out wood and test door. this will raise the back edge of the door. same trick in top hinge will lower the back edge of the door. but make sure that all the bolts are nice and tight before the wood trick is attempted.
