Nights in the teens are not unusual, though occassionally we'll see temps below 10. Admittedly we dont usally see temps near zero.
The purpose of my question was to determine if the presense of a heater unit (oil or water) lessens the wear on engines resulting from cold starting as they are advertised to do, not to simply assure the FF will turn over at all. After all, its a Power Wagon... It would start in below zero conditions Im sure. Im simply looking to lesson the workload, wear, and stress on the internal components.
