Marty is correct, the MU2 was factory on the W500 and the flat fendered PWs the LU2 was stock on 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton dodges through 1971. The 'A' suffix may actually be a 'R' which indicates the pto shaft rotation in reference to the drum wind-in rotation. ( Normally used on FF pws.) Suffix 'A' referred to 'accessory (usually a shaft extension for a rope capstan or chain sprocket)
