The PTO's that were furnished for the Power-Wagon when it was ordered from the factory were made by Detroit Harvester. Over the years 3 different models were user. Two models with the spur gear transmissions used on the trucks with 230 cu in engines and one model for the New Process 420 syncro transmission. Dodge part numbers are as follows: Early spur gear (up to type) P/N= 1189 419; Late spur gear (after type) P/N= 1265 551; and New Process 420 (syncro) P/N= 1668 739. Yes, the early & late PTO's were different in the fact that the gear protrusion out of the PTO housing was different by 0.250 inches.
