What I did was was the following:
My doors on my 51 ff PW had a reinforcment already my WC53 did not. They are made of plate steel that was dilled and bent to fit where the hinge is rivited the door. They were welded on and strengthen the door. Weld cracks in the door and grind the welds flush then bend and weld a doubler in place. The holes are drilled in the doubler to give the rivits space so that the double can lay flat against the door sheet metal. Before you weld the doublers on check the reinforcements inside the door and weld as needed. It is real hard to get in there though. If the internal reinforcements have pull away you can use a spot rivit cutter and drill holes in the door sheet metal then clamp the reinforcement against the door and plug weld the reinforcement back into place. I did this alot on my carryall where the reinforcements had broken free of the sheet metal. My doublers may be factory but I am not sure. They are on the lower hinge only if I remember correctly.

As for door pins. I bought some at the local body shop supply store. Send me an email and I can give you a part number. Your hinge on the body is most likely ok unless someone drilled it out. On my carryall I drilled out the holes in the hinge part that is on the door to a common rod size (these holes are often worn badly) Be sure to mark the center of these holes with a scribe on the edges of the hinge. Then weld in a short piece of metal rod grind it flush or just plug weld it. Then center punch and redrill the holes using the centering marks that you put on earlier. Then you need to put the new pin in and you are good. This worked well for my truck.

To align the door you need to flex the door or the hinge part on the body. If the back of the door is sagging, which is most common) bend the upper hinge (the part attached to the body) forward and the lower hinge rearward. A couple of taps with a big hammer works great.
