That was Me and My Brother In Law Ian Hunt, we operated Hangtown Tow Service for many years, The W-500 was one we had aquired from Jack's Tow service in Truckee Ca. And we had a second one that we built in P-Ville. I usually was the driver of the 500 and the $x$ Autocar as well as the 4x4 Ford 9000. Our tow yard was on lower Placerville Drive next door to the Foster's Freeze. I sold out my half to Ian in 1987 and he sold out the towing a couple years later. The station on lower Main street was his and then became my Sister's when Ian aquired the Broadway Chevron on upper Broadway in P-Ville. I do have lots of pictures but have yet to scan them in the computer..We always made a big showing at the annual Police destruction Derby in P-ville.
