Thanks everyone who responded to the call for info. I did purchase the New Holland TC35A. Its a 35 HP diesel, w/4WD,gear drive tranny and front bucket. Passed on the hydrostatic drive due to power loss/engine strain when shifting. Worked it all weekend; hauling the manure wagon, square bales, even cleared the lot with the bucket after a 3" snow fall. Seems to work pretty well and is easy to drive/handle. Little engine puts out pretty good power and climbs the hills around NE PA farm with snow very easily. Don't like the cheesy plastic fenders & hood. The front lights are also mounted to low when the bucket is attached. Lights shine on back of bucket even when it is at its lowest point. Another thing that fries my "*$@!" is the industrial tires are "standard" equipment; Ag tires are an $800 dollar option. For $20,000 you would think you might have a choice. Oh well, gone are the days of the buyer is always right and Made in the USA. Welcome to the new world market economy.
