I like the high backing plate you have to prevent the bale from rolling back toward the operator.
There was a bad accident a few years back when a guy had that happen...broke his back and now he is a paraplegic. He was in a hurry and did not want to wait and get the tractor with the bale handler, he picked up a bale with another tractor with a standard fork lift design.
