we run a large fleet of tractor trailers. our most trouble free wiper systems have been air wipers that run off the engine driven air compressors. they always work and they are plenty stout for a pw windshield. since they do not have a bulky dc motor & the output is centered, they should be available in a size to fit our trucks. i have dozens of used & take outs that i have always eyeballed as a solution when i install my onboard air system. good thing about the air vs vacuum is that they dont suffer from load & vacuum swings.
