Anybody else try any of these? Any input at all? How many degrees of travel do we need? I've owned 7 mostly military PWs in 30 years, none ever had working wipers...

1) Move the holes- I'm only starting on my cab, welding up the stock holes would allow me to shift the wipers from center of the inner opening, allowing a rear window motor from an SUV or wagon....

2) Headlight wiper motors- they seem to be small, with centered output shaft. Volvo and Mercedes are both made for cold weather, with ice and snow, they ought to be heavier duty than the little oval electrics sold for roadsters....

3) Invent my own, either linkage like modern stuff, or speedo cable, or Morse cable. Could I drop a long, bent link in from above the header? Then, a looong speedo cable above the headliner, to a motor behind the seat? There were some motors that seem to have a cable output that would push-pull, since the housing looks to have a worm gear system inside, then a snoot, for a cable? Old brit/euro cars?

I did a Google image search to come up with these ideas. Lots of conceptualising while sitting here on my pastey white ass, just because the dual diaphragm fuel pump is unavailable.
