It is but we can't let this type of repairs get us down just because it is complicated. I for one like to know how and why things quit working. Haven't realy paid anyone to work on one of my vehicals in 40 plus years not realy wanting to start now, except a brake job done wrong once and a automatic transmission rebuild that realy was not just low on fluid. One of my workers vans so I was not checking it. Had him take it to a Transmission Shop the kept it for 4 days and gave me a bill for a rebuild, new converter and about a month later it started slipping again and I went under it and found out they did not even clean it off! There was a inch of junk on the bolts and a rear seal was leaking when it was parked on a steep hill. Put fluid in it fixed the seal and it drove another 100,000 miles! Got ripped off big time on that job $$$ and it has made me warrie about fix it shops since. I am sure I am not the only one ripped off this way befor. Mark H.
