So the ratio between adjacent ratios is:
1st-2nd: .55
2nd-3rd: .57
3rd-4th: .53
5th-4th: .85
That confirms my perception that 4th is too high. Do you happen to have the ratios of a 3052? I've been told that they're more "natural", i.e., the steps between adjacent gears are closer to being the same.
