North Texas is burning tonight. Today we have had 40MPH winds, and with the severe drought conditions, wildfires have broken out all around our area. A big one started on the south edge of our town, and burning embers have set dozens of fires over a large area several miles from the first fire. I am not sure how many houses and barns have been lost, but it is bad. Large fires are burning in several adjacent counties also, one right on the west edge of Ft. Worth. The local fire agencies will be busy all night.
PW content: I bet my old 59, W300M brush truck can smell the smoke and wishes it was out on the fire line.
