I was just emailing with a guy who is putting one in his '96 Dodge. I wasn't clear on what it was going behind, but I think it was a 4BT or 6BT. He said engine-to-bellhousing adapters are widely available for that setup, and the 3053 is an SAE standard 12-bolt pattern. The attractive thing would be that good takeout 3053s can be gotten for $150-$200. They are strong, have an overdrive (not sure of the ratio), and aren't all that big.
