There were bunches of those trucks assembled in Canada for the Commonwealth Forces (including Britain) and Uncle Sam probably bought some too.
Hmm, post the chassis number and engine number here, and does it have anything else military on it apart from the blackout lights? I'm thinking glovebox plate (as opposed to the civilian door plate) and maybe tow hooks (or the holes for them) on the front chassis rails ?
