Get a 440 or even a slant six starter fromt he same era - all fit and have same rating.

There may be a difference between std and auto trans but the starters are the same between auto trans Mopar engines (/6, LA, B, RB).

Looks like you purchased the old 1971 Dodge moving truck from Marietta PA. Congrats. I live in Marietta and would have gotten it had I $1500 in spending money. Nice five speed huh? If your local and need a hand with it email me. The 413 is basically the same as the 440 except the bore is smaller and yours has an 8 bolt crank (flywheel) pattern rather than the usual 6 bolt auto version. Keep in mind that this is not a max wedge or high output motor. Your 413 is designed for high torque and low rpms - check out the rods if you open it up and see how heavy they are!! I'm out of hot rodding now that I have my M37. Still a MOPAR man though.
