I thought that installing anything other than
the stock 4 cylinder into the engine bay of a B3PW would
require sheetmetal massaging. My angle was also along
the lines that the stock 4 doesnt have that much horsepower
and just enough torque to get the job done. So hence my
suggestion, however for anyone who has seen the oil
pan of a Volvo 4 cylinder (B230 engine) knows that the design
seems to be a slant 4 (?).
