Sounds high to me compared to what I see for prices in my area. Some things to consider: I believe the 79 front end will be full time aka no lockouts or means to put any on-is this what you want? Bearing failure in these front ends is somewhat high and it normally ruins the hub-used ones are getting a bit hard to find and salvage yards are raising the prices because of this. Is the steering easily adaptable? Might want to check. $.02 worth for free. Good luck.
