There is a book called "Fortunate Son" about Chesty Pullers son. We lost one or both legs to a booby trapped artillery round. Lucky to have survived the blast. He returned to the states for a long recuperation. He ran for national office and was defeated. He suffered from severe depression and ultimatly commited suicde. A truelly tragic story.
