No right to bear arms here. We are not allowed to own hand guns without special permits which are very restrictive and hard to get. Mandatory one year minimum in jail for offence involving a hand gun.
Large ownership of long guns. Government is trying to get them all registered. Many complications with that. They think that if you get shot with a registered gun it doesn't hurt as much.
If you are coming to Canada to hunt, rifles are allowed but not hand guns. Remember the Johnny Cash song and "leave your guns at home son"
