Betts Spring in San Leandro is making my springs, they will ship this thursday or friday. We discussed Teflon inserts or tips on the springs. They dont recommend, and wont build a set of teflon equiped springs for a 'work truck' or truck going off road. The reason is that the Teflon allows the springs to slid to easy and you can suffer over travel and broken springs. They will/do use teflon on cars with a much better resulting ride. My Spring pak will be 9 leafs instead of the original 12. Once I have the rears back on, I will pull the fronts and have new ones designed for my application. Then I want to do the front of the M-37 to eliminate the 2" lift block. Its dangerous on a steer axle and also possible axle wind up making spring move.
