Let me get this straight, Its fine for you to call my comments ignorant, but when I call yours ignorant I am getting personal and being "pissy" and should email you.
You can aggrandise the minutemen all you want, it does not change the fact that they are an organization based on rasism, bigotry and isolationism. The federal government has increased the number of agents on the Canadian border aprox. threefold since 911. These agents are trained to do the job, a bunch of weekend volunteers are not. I doubt the minutemen are going to spot any spys or terrorists coming across the border. Mexicans coming over to work are easier targets and there are lots of them.
There are precious few Canadians trying to sneak over the border.
The problem lies on the Mexican border, not the Canadian border. My point was that there is no need for the minutemen to have any presence in the north.
