... when you change out your fuel filter. When you drain the fuel bowl and install a new filter, you will need to bump the starter and that will energize the lift pump for 15-20 seconds, enough to rapidly fill the bowl, effectively re-priming the fuel system. If se dont fill up, then the pumps bad. I keep a new spare pump under the back seat.
