I fought my insurance company for a year because they wanted to total our Wagoneer and not repair it, I didn't want a salvage title, it really hurts resale value. I finally lost the war, they totalled it, but I won the battle to keep the vehicle, after a huge hassle. Then the idiot bank sent my title to the insurance company after I paid off the loan!DUH! I finally liened it from myself and got it back...ha!ha!
