anybody know about swapping m37 3rd member?

Does anybody have access to information about changing the low gear ratio of an M37 Power Wagon to a higher gear. I was able to find some 4.88 gears from an old early 60's dually w300 truck. I just wasn't sure if they would swap or not even though they're Spicer 70. Any help?
