Had a 98 1500 4x4 bought new ,auto transmission went at 3000 miles, replaced it and that one never worked right, dealership could'nt figure out the problem, finally applied under the Lemon Law and was awarded a new 2000, currently have 85,000 miles with no problems....theres something about those 98 Trannys...I understand your frustration! Kevin
