The serial number you are showing, actually starts: L6W1 on the vin plate.
Yes, it is a 1958, W100 with a 6 cyl. engine.
I restored a 1958, W200 a couple of years ago. They are really neat old trucks, but can be very hard to get parts for. Parts are around, but you have to scrounge for them.
