Glad you got off with minor damage. I was not quite so lucky. I was taking down a tree for one of my lawncare accounts. Had used chainsaws for many years with no accidents. Anyway, somehow, I swung the saw too close to my leg. I never felt a thing, but noticed my jeans were cut at my right knee cap. Turns out, I had run that saw right across my knee, and when I looked, I could see my kneecap. Took 14 stiches to fix me up. Yes, it pays to be VERY careful with a chainsaw.
