At every Rally, many people including kids get in the back of PW's/M-37's. Accidents are rare, but do happen. People in the rear, at times on highways at speed, on rough trails, no belts/seats.
About 2 years ago, 2 children were killed in a Pinz rollover in Az while on a trail ride.
Its a hard issue to determine, one which I have wrestled with many times. This event today has turned my thinking. From now on, no one rides in the bed of my trucks. They must have a seat and seat/shoulderbelt. Speaking for my self, I can not accept that responsibility for people/kids riding loose in the bed.
Just my thoughts.
