The 4BTA in my Carryall came out of a P-30 Step Van. Its a 1999 recon that had 29K miles on it, I paid $2300. The 4BTa in the Bandit came out of a P-30 Van also. Its a Recon with 79K miles on it. I also feel $2800 is a little high, but I have seen them higher. Maybe for your area that price is normal. The liquid cooled aftercooler sticks up roughly 1.500" higher than the air to manifold elbow on a non turbo engine. I have not found the aftercooler heigth to be a problem, its worth the higher performance rating.
