I just got home. I just read the comments on the last Forum and I must add my "well done" to Dave Horvath, his family, and his friends who helped put on this Rally. It was absolutely worth the 2830 mile drive from Texas and back.

Counting Pat and Wanda's Hurricane Rita evacuation party, this was my sixth POWER WAGON Rally this year. Each presented a different challenge as I tried out my new POWER WAGON. This was the first that had really narrow trails with many tight turns. I fully expected to leave some "clear coat" on some rocks, logs, and tree stumps. The wet leaves, slippery rocks, hills, fog, and mud gave me a chance to really feel good about my POWER WAGON.

I feel really bad about discovering Dave's secret reason for liking the view from the Coopers Rock Overlook. My camera is not as good as my binoculars. Sadly, none of my pictures came out, but those binocular images will be in my mind forever. (Sorry - you had to be there.)
