Tack/dwell meter question

Does anybody know were I can find a tack/dwell meter for a 6 volt system. Or is there a trick that I can do to use a 12 volt tack/dwell meter? I would think that I could use the 12v meter since most 12v systems have a ballast resistor that will drop the voltage to the points but this resitance will change with temperature and current. I know I would have to reverse the polarity hookups. Any ideas? Thanks.
