$5K seems about typical for a working unit that's nothing special. Unlike a PW, a half-track isn't really "good" for anything and it'll never be a daily driver (or even a hunting rig) but they definitely look cool. Nobody's making tracks any more, so when the last NOS tracks are gone (currently $3K/pair or so) they're going to get really expensive.
