The 22RE is has a reputation as being as indestructable as the slant six.
Wiring is probably the most iffy thing about older vehicles. I would like to
use GM late model connectors and make a
new wiring harness. The Painless kits
are interesting, but the old wiring is
simple enough so that the late model
OEM connectors are not that hard to use.
