dipping gets into parts / areas where you can not get into with primer or paint. unless you can dip the parts in a primer or a rust inhibiter, id be worried. in addition, ive heard that the fluid can get into the seams like where the stake pockets and spare tire support are and leach back out and soften the new paint. i might be wrong...
your cab looks good though...
