Yes, I have learned that a gooseneck is the only way to go when the load starts getting pretty heavy. Much better ride and handling with the gooseneck trailers.
Prices have really been going up on trailers. This is the 5th trailer I have bought from the same place, and they shaved some off the price for me. Lately,every time they bring in a load of trailers, they have to raise their price.
