A caution against stop leak products. They coat surfaces and fill up little holes in other places, too, besides the leak you are trying to stop. Consequently, it is not the best thing to do to a heater core or radiator. This is particularly problematic in late model equipment with small radiator passages, in radiators that are not oversized, capacity-wise, at all.
