Mike Morgan and I have been working on his 55 PW replacing wheel cylinders and brake lines. Today we replaced the seals on the transfercase and found out you DON'T pull out on the output shafts or they won't go back in due to the 15 rollers falling out of place. A little grease and they stayed in place for the reinstall of the shaft. Other than that it went well. We still have to get hub seals front and rear and knuckle seals for the front, bleed the brakes once more,replace a front U joint, replace some rewiring and change out the passenger window regulator. Any helpfull tips on the window regulator job? Also how can we be sure if the brake booster is functioning properly? All in all we had a great day today getting his truck ready for our trip to Windrock OHV area in Oliver Springs , TN next month.
