My 95 Furd has a serpentine belt over 7 pullys. Would a newer 318 have interchangable parts? Reverse rotation water pump might require different front cover? I know alt and PS pully are generic, each family has same shaft, so serp pullys would fit. Would be much easier to add AC...

My 6.2 M1009 blazer has dual 100 amp alts, each has a single looong belt. They need tightening more than anything else I've had, probably 6 month intervals, replacement at 2 years. Wouldn't be a problem with a serpentine and it's tensioner.
