The B versions are still around and in high demand. No computer, hard ass working engines that are solid as a rock.
On getting a retarder AND a Jake Brake, EXCELLENT. When I heavy hauled, the Peterbilt I owned had both and my foot brakes never wore out.
Also, recommend an 18 speed over a 13 speed and make sure your new truck is just not tandem, but a twin screw with FULL LOCKERS.
