At least from 1948-56, there may be some changes earlier, Clint would know more about that then I would.
The only difference is the numbers on the tags.
Once you get to 1956 and the trucks become 12 Volt, the tags are green, but otherwise the same.
It might be better to get a correct generator with the tag then trying to get a new tag on your generator.
