As with all products used, we should read the warnings listed to know what chemicals can have a negative effect on the product. In the above example, can we determine:

- which one protects better than the other
- which one will retain its luster better
- which one is more resistant to certain chemicals than the other
- Which one controls rust better

Over time, under certain conditions, probably all could be answered.

Even with the coating in the tank, depending on which one you used, gasoline can cause it to release from the tank surface and loose your tanks protection. All products do a good job, some better than others and I think here the lesson is - know the product, know the chemicals that effect it and don't expose the product to them.
