Good question, On the Polys I don't think (can't remember) that there is any except for a small hole in the block casting that goes from the galley into the chain area. That may explain why the chains wear so rapidly on these motors (about 50,000 miles)?
Nothing showed in my manuals or in my photos, but looking at the block from the front there is about a half inch hole at the upper left side of the chain. Is the LA block the same?
