actually they are both very simular as for the angle iron pieces. The MU has a different angle cast into it's gearbox and support as the angle of the truck frame is unique. The MU-2 was designed exclusively for the WW2 3/4t, 1.5t, and post war WDX type power wagons, the support angles should interchange, the only other difference is the de-clutch lever on the MU is on the right (passenger end of the drum) and the MU-2 is on the left (drivers end between the drum and gearbox) thus the indexing plate for the lever would mount differently to the angle iron.
