Be careful with cash donations though... Even though they are requesting cash, this puts a great risk of "fraudulant charities".
Hi, we were the "church of <put name here>" and we are collecting cash for the American Red Cross... In reality "church of <put name here>" is really some scam trying to raise money.
I was going to go and donate blood. I think I am eligible. That's another way you can help.
When Hurricane Andrew hit florida, the college I was attending sent their two semi's down with loads of water.
