I thought I was one of the few left who used brass nuts <g>. A good NAPA shop will have them ( I got my last batch in Pecos, TX of all places...).
I don't think they deal well with the expansion on those old long one piece manifolds. Lotsa cracks.
I was going to take some long nuts and cut them. But I usually do things the hard way.
