Home at 2:00 PM, just a week and two hours after leaving the Lee Rally. Got the truck unpacked, opened my e-mails, and have read almost all the postings on Forum #183 which started while I was at the Rally.
Total was 4501.8 miles for the trip. Hey, Dave F. - not too bad for an all original, first owner POWER WAGON. I haven't added up my gallons of gasoline, but POWER WAGON guys who compare mileage are like hookers comparing virtue.
Kathy really enjoyed herself, even in the presence of her favorite "axe murderer" who was charming as usual.
It was a super event and worth the miles. Anyone who lived closer and didn't make the trip must have a good excuse because they will need to convince themselves over and over that it was okay for them to miss it.
Thanks to everyone - the organizers, the helpers, and those who simply made it great with their presence. Clearly the 2006 event will have a high priority in my planning.
P.S. Mack - I have something at the house for you concerning your accessory for Terry and LinK. I hope you have some GOOD friends in Customs.
