Althought the left and right brackets on VPW's website appear identical, (They used the same image for both) in reality they are mirror images of each other. Be sure to specify left and/or right when ordering.
The brackets are bare steel, and need to be bead-blasted, primed, and painted gloss black. On the second series beds, there are mounting holes already punched on the forward-facing side of the rear stake pockets. You need to reach up inside the pocket to put the nut on the mounting bolts.
