I have put about 3500 miles on my new Durango hemi. It has done surprisingly well on gas getting just over 20 mpg (after correction for optimistic odometer) going mostly 65ish. There was some city driving in there but not much.

Rides well and the steering is precise.

This is the first vehicle I have ever bought off the lot...I have always ordered to get exactly what I want. This time, I got there too late and I didn't want to wait for the new models (and no rebates, no dealer pricing, but with 4 cyl shutdown on hemi for better milage).

What I like least about this and all new cars and trucks is that they more and more like appliances. They are not meant to be modified, you aren't supposed to love them and you just ditch them when they wear out. You could not put an extra gauge in that dash if you tried...you can't even reach back there. The damn security alarm cannot be deactivated etc.

Other than that rant, it is doing its just pretty well (just like my toaster does).
